What Your Work Looks Like: 

You can expect to be working among some of the brightest and most driven minds in a fast-paced working environment. As a project manager, you will have to work closely with clients, who usually are C-Level executives of large companies and transform their requirements into actionable items for the development team. You need to manage client expectations and make sure that the project is done on time at the highest quality possible. Your key mission is to drive the execution that turns ideas into concrete and successful products. 

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement and Technical Support:

• Accompany sales personnel on customer visits to address and answer technical questions.
• Provide technical expertise and support during sales meetings and presentations.
• Establish strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met.

Collaboration and Scope Development:

• Collaborate with the sales team, business development personnel, and development team lead to draft detailed scopes of work.
• Ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and documented.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and timelines.

Project Coordination and Management:

• Act as the intermediary between the customer and the development manager to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.

Stakeholder Management:

• Keep all stakeholders informed of project status, issues, and changes.
• Organize and lead regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members to achieve project goals.

Quality Assurance and Delivery:

• Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and customers.

Preferred requirements & competencies:

• Bachelor’s degrees in engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, MIS or related fields
• 3+ years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on technical or engineering projects.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English both written and spoken.
• High attention to details and Excellent organizational skills. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
• Experience in government projects is a plus.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
