What Your Work Looks Like:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Medical Consultant to join our innovative tech company. As a Medical Consultant, you will bridge the gap between healthcare expertise and technology, providing valuable insights and guidance to our team. This role combines medical knowledge with a deep understanding of technology, healthcare software, and digital health solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Healthcare Strategy: Collaborate with product development teams to integrate medical expertise into the development of healthcare software and digital health solutions.
- Clinical Guidance: Provide clinical guidance and expertise on medical content, terminology, and workflows within software applications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our healthcare products and solutions comply with medical regulations, standards, and best practices.
- User Experience: Evaluate user experience and usability of healthcare software from a medical perspective, making recommendations for improvements.
- Medical Content Creation: Develop medical content, including articles, white papers, and educational materials related to healthcare technology.
- Medical Research: Stay updated with medical research, trends, and advancements to inform product development and strategy.
- Collaboration: Reach out to medical schools and research partners to set up collaborations that help advance our healthcare technology.
Preferred requirements & competencies:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a medical specialty is preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare technology, digital health, or health informatics.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare workflows, and clinical practices.
- Familiarity with medical regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and medical device regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex medical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
