You can expect to be working among some of the brightest and most driven minds in a fast-paced working environment. As a senior project manager, you will have to work closely with clients, who usually are C-Level executives of large companies and transform their requirements into actionable items for the development team. You need to manage client expectations and make sure that the project is done on time at the highest quality possible. Your key mission is to drive the execution that turns ideas into concrete and successful products. 

Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement and Technical Support:

1. 1. • Accompany sales personnel on customer visits to address and answer complex technical questions.
      • Provide advanced technical expertise and support during high-level sales meetings and presentations.
      • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their strategic needs and ensure their requirements are met.

• Collaboration and Scope Development:

1. 1. • Lead collaboration with the sales team, business development personnel, and development team lead to draft detailed scopes of work.
      • Ensure all project requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with customer expectations.
      • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive project proposals, estimates, and timelines.

• Project Coordination and Management:

1. 1. • Serve as the primary intermediary between the customer and the development manager to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
      • Manage complex project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
      • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
      • Adjust project plans as necessary to meet evolving customer needs and ensure on-time delivery.

• Stakeholder Management:

1. 1. • Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and changes.
      • Organize and lead regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions, ensuring all team members are aligned.
      • Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members to achieve project goals.

• Quality Assurance and Delivery:

1. 1. • Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
      • Conduct thorough project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
      • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project performance.

• Documentation and Reporting:

1. 1. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
      • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and key customers, highlighting key achievements and areas of concern.

• Mentorship and Leadership:

• • • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the project management team.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

Preferred requirements & competencies:

• Bachelor’s degrees in engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, MIS or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on technical or engineering projects.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Proficient in English both written and spoken.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and delivering on time and within budget.
• High attention to details and excellent organizational skills. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency in project management software, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
• PMP or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
