Business Development Associate

Right now, we are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and energetic Business Development Associate to expand our clientele and work closely with clients to develop new solutions that could best serve their needs. 

What Your Work Looks Like: 

As a Business Development Associate, your key mission is to work with potential clients to synthesize hunches and streams of thought into executable projects, identifying key problems, data availability, product features, stakeholder motivations, and deliverable impact. 

In this role, you will tackle problems that require a curious and analytical mindset, a sharp intuition for product development, and a high degree of user empathy to empower our clients to take bold steps in innovation while minimizing risks.
Additionally, you will plan and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery of client solutions, working closely with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Research industries and organizations to identify key opportunities and develop new markets.
  • Develop business proposals and presentations.
  • Engage with clients to analyze problems and identify impactful solutions.
  • Promote products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Develop quotations and proposals for clients.
  • Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.
  • Synthesize concrete goals from client needs and our long-term roadmaps with a clear timeline.
  • Expand sales to current customers by identifying their additional business needs and selling the appropriate technology or solutions to meet those needs.
  • Define value propositions for our products.
  • Provide accurate weekly updates to management.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery of client solutions.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive product development and implementation in accordance with the timeline.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to clients and senior management.
Preferred requirements & competencies:
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Proven sales track record and deal negotiation experience; skilled in building pipelines, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.
  • Good logical and analytical thinking.
  • Fast learner, adapts well to and is energized by change.
  • Results-oriented strategic thinker, who is assertive and full of initiative.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Able to identify high-impact opportunities and objectively evaluate projects.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and enjoy high levels of autonomy.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Experience in Business Development, Technology, Finance, or Marketing is a plus.
