Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth with one of our key strategic clients in the retail and convenience store sector. This role is dedicated to deeply understanding the client’s business, identifying pain points, and developing opportunities where AI and advanced analytics can deliver measurable value.

You will work closely with the client’s management team, spending several days per week at their offices, while collaborating internally with our AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams to craft tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at the client’s organization.
  • Identify pain points, operational challenges, and unmet needs within the client’s retail operations.
  • Translate business challenges into potential AI-driven solutions (e.g., demand forecasting, shelf optimization, customer analytics).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design proposals, solutions, and presentations that address client needs.
  • Drive the business development cycle: from opportunity identification through proposal and negotiation to project initiation.
  • Deliver professional presentations and proposals to client executives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for this client, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, account management, retail business or consulting.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Solid knowledge of the retail industry, especially convenience store operations, is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of technology and AI solutions (experience with data, analytics, or digital transformation projects is a plus).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable working on-site at client offices several days a week.
  • Fluent in Thai and English
