Job summary

Our machine learning engineers are responsible for creating innovative approaches to harness the power of data to solve real-world problems. They are fluent in programming and have superior analytical skills. They must have a very strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning; both in theory and application. We expect our ML engineers to not only be able to train and create machine learning models, but to understand at an intuitive level why some techniques work better than others.

As a senior machine learning engineer, we expect you to have a strong academic background. You should be able to read, understand, and criticize papers in order to apply the greatest and latest advances to solve our problems. We expect you to oversee ML project(s), which will involve supervising junior ML engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small R&D group working on AI projects in one of areas such as computer vision or NLP.
• Design and implement ML algorithms to solve real-world problems.
• Work with business analysts and project managers to develop novel AI-based solutions.

Preferred requirements & competencies

• PhD in Artificial intelligence, Data Mining or related areas OR a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Passion in using data and ML to solve challenging problems.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.
