Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Document Writer to join our team and support our government, corporate and private sector proposals. This mid-level position requires an experienced professional who can create comprehensive, compliant, and compelling documentation. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our proposal team to develop critical business documents that support our efforts across all sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Document Development
- Create Terms of Reference (TOR) documents that clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop Board of Investment (BOI) applications and supporting documentation for submissions
- Prepare all documents and ensure that they remain compliant with ISO standards.
- Prepare detailed Statements of Work (SOW) that accurately capture project requirements and deliverables
- Draft comprehensive Requests for Information (RFI) to gather necessary project details from stakeholders
- Ensure all documentation meets government contracting standards and requirements
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, technical staff, and project managers
- Coordinate with business team to understand client requirements and project specifications
- Participate in proposal strategy sessions and contribute to win strategy development
- Review and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Support proposal submission processes and ensure timely delivery of all documentation
Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to government contracting regulations and submission guidelines, while also managing ISO standard and private sector project documents.
- Conduct thorough reviews of all documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Maintain consistent formatting, style and messaging across all proposal documents
- Update and maintain proposal templates and standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience writing government contract proposals and related documentation
- Proven track record in developing comprehensive project documentation, including TOR, BOI applications, ISO documentation, SOW and RFI documents.
- Experience working with government agencies and understanding of government contracting processes
- Previous experience in government contractor, private sector or technology company environments preferred

- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources
- Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
