What Your Work Looks Like:
As a UX/UI Design Manager, you will lead the design team in crafting intuitive, impactful user experiences across our products. You’ll oversee the end-to-end design process, from deep user research and information architecture to high-fidelity UI and usability validation. Your role combines hands-on design with team leadership, strategic vision, and close collaboration with stakeholders across product, tech, and business.
- Define and lead the UX/UI vision across multiple products, ensuring design efforts are strategically aligned with business goals, user needs, and technological feasibility.
- Oversee end-to-end design execution, from initial discovery and research to prototyping, usability testing, and handoff to developers. You will ensure each step of the process delivers tangible value and actionable insights.
- Lead user research efforts including planning and conducting interviews, surveys, usability tests, and contextual inquiries. Translate findings into personas, journey maps, and feature opportunities that drive innovation.
- Create and refine complex information architectures, user flows, and task models that support intuitive user journeys—especially for systems involving multiple roles, entry points, and touchpoints.
- Design and review wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens that reflect not only visual polish but also usability, accessibility, and performance best practices.
- Establish and evolve a scalable design system that enables consistency, efficiency, and cross-team collaboration, while supporting multiple platforms and product teams.
- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to clarify problems, validate hypotheses, and align on priorities and solutions. Be a strong voice of the user while balancing business constraints.
- Lead and facilitate design critiques, stakeholder reviews, and team rituals to strengthen communication and create alignment across departments.
- Mentor and grow the design team, providing thoughtful, constructive feedback, pairing sessions, and coaching for both junior and senior designers. Champion a growth mindset and create an environment of psychological safety and creativity.
- Manage timelines, resources, and quality across multiple initiatives, ensuring projects meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design excellence.
- Continuously improve design operations by identifying gaps in processes, proposing new methods or tools, and helping the team scale design practices across the organization.
- Advocate for user-centered design throughout the organization, using evidence-based rationale to influence decision-making and encourage deeper empathy toward users.
