Job summary

Software tester is a critical role for any software development team, because they help ensure that products we build are stable, easy to use, and bug-free. Software testers must develop a deep understanding about the various features of the products and create a test plan to cover key use cases. Then, software testers must create tests and conduct the testing according to the plan using various methods and tools. Lastly, good software testers must be able to communicate the issues found back to the development team in a clear and concise way.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for testing various software systems such as websites, mobile applications and other programs as assigned
• Design software test cases and test scenarios to cover key use cases
• Perform manual testing using various input patterns
• Process and analyze test results and create reports to communicate the conclusions to the team
• Support development teams and project managers in identifying the root causes of bugs in order solve the bugs faster as a team

Preferred requirements & competencies

• Experience in software system testing and experience in developing automated testing systems
• General knowledge about IT, website development, and mobile application development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team-working skills
• Enthusiastic to learn new technologies
• Candidates with experience in the following are preferred: Selenium, Firebase

Preferred skill

• Basic knowledge of programming (in any languages)
